Although Lake Erie is the smallest of the Great Lakes by volume, don’t let that fool you. Because it’s relatively shallow compared to the other great lakes, it supports a robust ecosystem. From a huge forage base to a thriving population of apex predators, Lake Erie is a healthy fishery that’s sure to captivate anglers of all types and interests.  

Lake Erie is home to a wide variety of game fish.  Steelhead, lake run brown trout, musky, smallmouth bass, carp, freshwater drum, northern pike, walleyes and lake trout all call Lake Erie home.
